Matt Cornell is based in the Asia-Pacific region and grew up in Darwin, on Larrakia land. He works through dance, choreography, sound, photography and discussion to question the arbitrary configuration of systems, and is passionate about overcoming cognitive bias... to ask better questions… to dissolve malignant social narratives.

Matt is interested in the individual as a product of their environment, currently questioning: the choreography of capital, cultural heritage vs identity, and the eternal dance concerns of time and place and space and our arbitrary and shifting position within it.

Matt believes in the power of non-spoken experience and the far reaching consequences of love.
